Replacement drive for an old DS213 (2013) NAS.
Original drives lasted around 5 years, before upgrading to WD Reds. Recently one of the Reds failed and the Synology Plus was an easy swap in replacement. NAS rebuilt itself with no issues.
The only problem with the DS213 is the processor has to work quite hard to keep up with the latest Synology OS. With this in mind, I also bought a DS1522 populated with 3 Synology Plus drives. This new drive in the DS213 will eventually fill one of the 2 spare drive bays in the DS1522.
