The Corsair iCUE LINK LX140-R RGB 140mm Reverse Fan Starter Kit combines a reverse rotor design for aesthetic intake mounting with a cable-free daisy-chain ecosystem, delivering up to 90.6 CFM of airflow per fan. Finished in white, this two-fan kit includes the necessary controller to integrate directly into Corsair’s smart component ecosystem.

Built for showcase intake cooling

Traditional fans mounted as intakes often expose their structural rear struts to the main viewing chamber. The LX140-R features a reverse rotor design, pulling air through the rear hub side and pushing it out the front. This allows builders to mount the fans as bottom or side intakes in dual-chamber cases while keeping the primary, unobstructed fan face visible.

High static pressure for restrictive panels

Despite the reversed blade geometry, these 140mm fans maintain radiator-grade performance. Spinning via PWM control between 350 and 2000 RPM, each fan generates up to 4.22 mmH2O of static pressure to push air through dust filters, dense radiators, or restrictive glass panel gaps. The Magnetic Dome bearing minimises friction, keeping acoustic output between a quiet 10 dBA at idle and 38.3 dBA at maximum speed.

A single-cable ecosystem

This starter kit includes two white LX140-R fans and the iCUE LINK System Hub. The iCUE LINK standard replaces individual PWM and RGB cables with a unified connector that daisy-chains from one fan directly to the next. A single cable runs from the end of the fan cluster back to the included System Hub, significantly reducing cable management requirements behind the motherboard tray.

Customisable lighting and zero RPM support

Each fan houses 18 individually addressable RGB LEDs distributed across the frame and hub, providing even illumination for white-themed builds. When system temperatures are low, the fans support a Zero RPM mode, stopping the blades entirely to eliminate mechanical noise during light desktop workloads.
