The Thermaltake SWAFAN 120 EX INFINITY ARGB 3-Pack combines swappable standard and reverse airflow blades with MAGForce 2.0 magnetic daisy-chaining, giving you complete control over your case’s intake and exhaust aesthetics without the usual cable clutter.

Magnetic Daisy-Chaining with MAGForce 2.0

Instead of routing multiple cables per fan, the MAGForce 2.0 Quick Connection system uses magnetic contacts to bridge power and lighting across adjacent fans. This allows you to link all three 120mm fans in a cluster using a single cable run back to your motherboard. The magnetic connection provides a secure hold during installation, drastically reducing the time spent managing cables behind the motherboard tray.

Swappable Blades for Uncompromised Aesthetics

Standard fans expose their rear support struts when used as intakes, compromising the look of glass-heavy showcase PC cases. The SWAFAN EX solves this by including both standard and reverse fan blades in the box. You simply pop out the blade and press in the alternate version to change the airflow direction while keeping the front infinity mirror facing the glass.

Performance remains strong regardless of orientation:

• Standard Blade: Delivers up to 58.13 CFM airflow and 2.86 mm-H2O static pressure at 30 dB-A.
• Reverse Blade: Delivers up to 56.15 CFM airflow and 2.23 mm-H2O static pressure at 32 dB-A.

Optimised for Radiators and Restrictive Intakes

Built with a thicker 28mm frame (124 x 120 x 28 mm), these fans generate higher static pressure than traditional 25mm thick fans. Combined with PWM speed control ranging from 500 to 2000 RPM, they are highly capable of pushing air through dense liquid cooling radiators or restrictive front mesh panels. The hydraulic bearing ensures reliable operation with a life expectation of 40,000 hours at 25°C.

Dual Infinity Mirror ARGB Lighting

The fans feature Dual Infinity Mirror ARGB lighting, creating deep, layered lighting effects around the fan hub. The lighting operates on a standard 5V 3-pin ARGB header, ensuring straightforward compatibility with major motherboard lighting software without requiring proprietary USB controllers. The fan motors themselves draw up to 3.6 W (0.3 A) at 12V, while the lighting draws 4 W (0.8 A) at 5V per fan.
