The combination of products feels great, thanks to the gentle minty sensation on the scalp, it’s soothing, cooling, and refreshing without being overpowering.

The shampoo is very clarifying. I was initially concerned it might strip or dull my fashion-coloured hair, but I was pleasantly surprised that it didn’t. This may be due to the quality of my dye, but either way, it was a relief. After shampooing, my hair did feel a little dry and tangly, so I worried the conditioner might not restore enough moisture. Thankfully, it did. The conditioner left my hair soft, manageable, and lightly refreshed, while maintaining that subtle minty tingle on the scalp.

The minty element is worth noting, it’s not harsh or eye-watering, but rather a gentle, invigorating touch. After using the shampoo and conditioner, I applied the leave-in treatment, focusing on the areas where I wanted to promote growth. It’s a lightweight foam that spreads easily, applies directly to the scalp, and provides a pleasant cooling, tingling sensation that’s said to stimulate growth.

Hair care has always been very important and top priority and my hygiene regimen. Ever since I was born to teenage life, my father had always had to cut my hair short so it would be easy to maintain (hygiene purposes). Since 2011, I fell in love with this product after the first time I used it. WOW! It was the more product and cheaper ($ per oz.) compared to my previous favorite hair product. I had seen this Nioxin product before at my husband’s favorite hair salons, I never tried it because I thought it might be too expensive. I was amazed after just after my first use!!! The smell was great, it had a minty, herbal smell. It left my scalp felling very clean and fresh, and no itchiness after using it. My hair was silky and shiny all day long. I searched for it on-line shopping sites and bought the starter’s kit ( 3 bottle pack), which included the 12 fl oz. shampoo and conditioner, and the post-shower, leave-in hair regrowth solution. After my started kit, I only order the large 33 oz. bottle shampoo and conditioner set, which was very affordable and last me about 3 months. After 2 years, my bald spot had nearly completely disappeared and was no longer visible. Then in 2019, my husband had started his hair thinning journey. I suggested he try Nioxin and he did. His reaction was “ Wow! this product is amazing!… Why haven’t you told me this sooner? I was about to go insane.” I am attaching some before and after photos as proof that this product really works… my hair & scalp is now fuller. Occasionally, I will use other products, if I forget to pack it while I am traveling or when I forget to order and my re-order (usually two sets at a time) shipments has not arrived, but I definitely noticed the difference of the other products vs this product. I’ve tried all three… from Systems #1 and #2, and #3.
