I purchased the Deepcool Assassin IV yesterday to cool my i7 11700KF. Before I purchased the Assassin IV, I was using a Coolermaster Hyper 212 Black Edition with push -pull in a dual 120mm fan configuration. The Hyper 212 was ample at CPU stock speeds but the moment I attempted any form of overclock the temps would go through the roof and I would often hit near or over 100 degrees c. The new CPU cooler is absolutely enormous compared to the Hyper 212, so make sure it fits in your case. I overclocked my CPU to 4.9GHZ on all cores and the Deepcool Assassin IV handles the extra heat and wattage like a champ…and I have a stable overclock and my temps while gaming stay under 80 degrees C. I am very happy with the purchase and my temperature fears have been allayed heading into the summer months here in sunny old Australia.
