A Simple easy design to put together
Very quick to get up and running
I’m very happy with the two I bought
The Volans case was selected because it fitted my requirements for mounting a 3.5 had as an external drive.
On arrival it was very easy to assemble and profile on the desk was appt.
Really needs rubber feet to stop it scratching the desktop

Not a bad enclosure for the price, and does what it needs to do. The brushed black steel is a nice look.
A couple gripes though..
– no rubber feet, so will potentially scratch up your pc case or whatever you decide to sit it on, and possibly scratch up the nice finish of this HD case.
– Inner module rattles around a bit after installation.
– Not confident about the back of case locking mechanism. It could potentially pop off with a semi-hard knock, causing the whole inner module (with drive attached) to just slide out and fall to the ground.
