Where yesterday’s technology gets to live on

Used this Graphics card to upgrade an old Lenovo M720Q. Good size and performance, without generating too much heat. Ideal for low level gaming stuff and using in the small form factor case.

I wanted a very compact, low-profile graphics card with HDMI. Fans and extra bells and whistles would be too much for the very tight space I had available in a SFF Dell Win11 PC. I knew this card wouldn’t deliver state-of-the-art and it doesn’t but it does a good, basic job for very few dollars.

I had 2x PCs so I ordered 2 cards … which resulted in free shipping, so an extra bonus …. and they arrived a couple of days later.

I used the minimalist mounting option to give HDMI & DVI outputs in the available space and switched on the PC. Everything just worked straight away and I’m very happy with the result.

Needed a graphics card that just worked without any pain, and the GT710 did the job.

Great little low watt GPU for times when a discrete GPU is required and I don’t want to use a great cumbersome GPU
