I mistakenly bought this heatsink version and found out when trying to install it that the Q-latches that Asus use for securing M.2 drives do not work with this heatsink version, they refuse to attach or secure, not fitting properly. Centrecom would not allow me to replace it, so initially I thought I was stuck with a very expensive drive that I couldn’t use. But some online searching and I found that I could get and use a PCI-e to M.2 adapter card. I bought one of those and now I was able to install this Nvme drive into my computer. Overall it is a good Nvme SSD, fast and works just fine. Just be aware that in some cases, the heatsink version might not fit your particular motherboard.
